Hey,
If you have not worked it out yet, my overall theme is feelings and emotions. With this one, i made a collagraph just for the background by scrunching up paper, pasting it onto card and put a few layers of shillac to make sure it stays down and keeps shape when printing it. Once the backgrounds were printed and dried, I came back and used my stencils trying my hardest to choose a green that will stand out on these backgrounds. Since the background has a lot of detail, I was scared the colour or picture will become confused and you would not see it tha well but these 2 you see here were the better 2 out of 4. This is of course one step further than Green with Envy 2. Enjoy! ---- A4 size mounted on A3 black paper Stencil on collagraph prints Taken with 8mp digital camera Re-fixed on photoshop |
